"Helpful support, but I felt a bit misled"
Zendesk support has been solid when I actually need help. If I get stuck, someone usually gets back to me fairly quickly and explains things in a way that feels normal, not scripted.
That said, I did feel a little misled about how easy some parts of the setup would be. I ran into a small issue last week that I didn’t expect based on how it was presented, but support walked me through it and got it fixed without turning it into a whole ordeal.
"Super easy to get the hang of"
I was surprised by how simple the dashboard is to use. Everything is straightforward, like finding the main tools, checking updates, switching between sections, and getting a quick overview without digging around forever. It’s the kind of setup where you can log in, do what you need, and move on, whether you’re checking stats, changing settings, reviewing info, or just trying to figure out where something is

We were able to move things around and tweak the setup without much hassle. Nothing overly complicated, just the kind of changes you’d expect to be able to make, and it worked fine for our team.

zendesk makes it easy for us to keep an eye on ticket trends and how the team is doing without having to dig around forever. The dashboards are clear, and exporting reports is just quick and simple. It’s been really useful for our weekly check-ins.

"Chatbot saves us a bunch of time"
The AI bot has been a big help for us. It answers people fast, so my small team doesn’t have to deal with every little ticket that comes in. Basically, fewer repeat questions, less back-and-forth, and more time for us to handle the stuff that actually needs a person.

Getting Zendesk connected with our Slack, Shopify, and email setup was straightforward. It saved us a good chunk of time, and having everything in one place has made day-to-day support a lot easier. I’m happy with how it’s working so far, and I wouldn’t mind seeing some kind of discount or credit for how much we’re using it.

"Solid for chat, though I still miss our old setup sometimes"
We mainly use zendesk for live chat and customer messaging, it’s been reliable. Once you get the hang of it, the conversations are easy to follow, and I do appreciate that replies and chat history don’t just disappear into the void. That said, setup took us a bit longer than expected, and some settings feel like they’re tucked away where you wouldn’t think to look. I’ll admit I was loyal to the platform we used before, so part of me still compares everything to that, but zendesk has won me over enough. It’s not perfect, but it gets the job done, and our support team is happy using it.

We’ve been using Zendesk for email, chat, and social messages, it’s made things so much less chaotic. It’s easy to jump between channels, and our team is catching way more tickets now instead of having stuff slip through. Setup took a little time, but their support has been helpful when we’ve needed it. Overall, I’m pleasantly surprised with how well it’s working for us.

"Mobile app is honestly really handy for quick replies"
I use the Zendesk app a lot when I’m not at my desk, it’s been great for keeping up with tickets on my phone. I can open a ticket, send a quick reply, and see what my team already said without having to run back to my laptop, which feels like exactly what a mobile app should do, right?
The only thing I’ve noticed is that notifications can come in a little late sometimes, but it hasn’t been a huge issue for me. Overall, it saves me time and makes it easier to stay on top of things when I’m moving around, so I’d say it’s a solid app that does what I need.

"Fair price for what we use it for"
Zendesk isn’t exactly the cheapest option, but for what we need, it feels reasonable. We’re a small team, so anything that helps us move through tickets faster is a big deal. The replies are easier to manage too, which I didn’t realize would save us as much time as it does. Setup took a little longer than I expected, and there were a couple moments where I had to poke around to figure things out, but nothing major. Overall, it does the job well and feels worth the cost.

"Onboarding felt slower than it should be"
The setup worked out in the end, but it was more confusing than I expected. Based on my experience, I’d guess the onboarding process in general could use clearer steps, because it took me longer than it probably needed to.

"It works fine, but also kind of annoys me"
The ticket handling is decent overall. It does what it’s supposed to do, and I can usually keep track of things without too much trouble. At the same time, the queues can get messy quickly, which makes it feel more frustrating than it should. So I’d say it’s usable and reliable enough, but also not as smooth as I’d like.

"Fast and easy to use"
Zendesk has been really quick for me so far. Tickets pop open fast, pages don’t really freeze or anything, and I can move around without sititng there waiting. It just makes the support work feel way less annoying tbh. Happy with the speed so far...
